Yang Jinghua, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang

On September 1, 2020, before the advent of the 36th China’s Teachers’ Day, Ms. Yang Jinghua, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Automonous Regional People’s Congress, visited Guangxi Polytechnic of Construction to send the best wishes and sincere greetings to Professor Wen Guiping, winner of National Model Teacher, and all the faculty and staff of the school on behalf of the Party committee and government of Guangxi Autonomous Region.
 
At Wen Guiping Master Teacher Studio, Ms. Yang had a pleasant conversation with professor Wen by asking for details of Wen’s working and living conditions, along with sending flowers and bonus to show the gratitude towards her contribution and devotion to Guangxi vocational education, hoping she could achieve more in the future.
 
Professor Wen then gave Ms. Yang a brief report about the practices taken by our school, including personnel training, cooperation between school and enterprises, teacher workforce enhancement, etc.. she said that our school had always attached great importance to increase the number and to improve the quality of teachers with industry qualifications, and had kept making every efforts to create opportunities for teachers to improve their technical application abilities and practical teaching skills. As an experienced teacher, she would continue to dedicate herself to Guangxi vocational education and teacher training.
 
Later, accompanying with Ms. Liu Xiaohong, CPC Party Secretary of GXPC, and Mr. Wu Kun, the school president, Ms. Yang visited the Innovate Talent Training Center based in the Department of Management Engineering, BIM application skill training center, BIM achievement exhibition, and had a look at construction teaching models. Yang was pleased by the achievement we had made so far, and then emphasized the importance of training base construction in practical teaching. Yang said that Architectural schools had immense potentials in personnel cultivation and rural revitalization, and hoped that we promote steadily the construction of talent education, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents, and strive to provide talents and intellectual support for rural development.
